Improved Mix & Match Data + Bundle-Friendly Shipping Logic

The "Mix & Match" tag reads as shipping consolidation but actually denotes a wholesale-discount tier โ€” Mix & Match shipping is still charged per plant for larger items when the order is received. This makes large volume multi-plant bundles unviable at gift retail price points. I attempted to launch 10 office bundles in May โ€” 9 had to be unpublished as loss-makers. Three asks: 1. A clear shipping_bracket field per product (today we hand-map shipping rules from pot size + height) 2. A bundle margin calculator API (cart spec โ†’ total landed cost) 3. Volume-break shipping โ€” e.g. 5+ plants = -10%, 10+ = -20% per supplier Bundles drive 2-3ร— AOV. Currently merchants either avoid them, eat losses, or anchor at luxury pricing. Volume left on the table.

Everspring Logistics Provider Account

Currently, all wholesalers ship using their own shipping carrier account (usually with DPD). This is problematic because our customers can see exactly which wholesaler is shipping the plants when they track their orders. They can then contact that wholesaler directly and might order from them next time instead of through us. It would be great if you could set up an account with a shipping provider and then maintain a separate sender address for each wholesaler. Then Everspring would be listed as the sender, not the wholesaler directly. Additionally, all collected packages would be processed under your account. This would give you significantly greater leverage when negotiating with the shipping provider, allowing you to secure much better shipping rates. That would be a major advantage for all of us.
