The "Mix & Match" tag reads as shipping consolidation but actually denotes a wholesale-discount tier — Mix & Match shipping is still charged per plant for larger items when the order is received. This makes large volume multi-plant bundles unviable at gift retail price points. I attempted to launch 10 office bundles in May — 9 had to be unpublished as loss-makers. Three asks: 1. A clear shipping_bracket field per product (today we hand-map shipping rules from pot size + height) 2. A bundle margin calculator API (cart spec → total landed cost) 3. Volume-break shipping — e.g. 5+ plants = -10%, 10+ = -20% per supplier Bundles drive 2-3× AOV. Currently merchants either avoid them, eat losses, or anchor at luxury pricing. Volume left on the table.
